The event brought together members of the Mission Soil community to exchange knowledge, discuss solutions, and highlight ongoing efforts to support healthier soils across Europe.
SoilWise at the Mission Soil Project Trail
During Day 1 of the event, the SoilWise team joined the Mission Soil Project Trail, where we presented how SoilWise was helping make scattered soil data FAIR—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. Through short presentations and discussions with visiting groups, we showed how our work was enabling researchers, policymakers, land managers, and other stakeholders to discover, access, and use soil data more effectively.
For Data Users
Visitors learned how they could search, explore, and access relevant soil data and knowledge resources through SoilWise to support better-informed decisions for healthier soils across Europe.
For Data Providers
We also introduced our approach for helping data providers make their data and knowledge discoverable through the SoilWise catalogue.
